After a quarter century in business, I have the opportunity to reflect and ponder the many changes and progress that Martek has made throughout the years and the number of lives we have impacted. When I founded Martek it was based on a handful of simple principles which were, to deliver solutions with integrity, creativity, and forge lasting relationships with individuals that were part of reputable organizations.

The idea was to engage in long-term relationships that allowed Martek to provide solutions with fluidity, and speed along with unwavering trust, and in the end, would help our customers succeed, prosper and achieve their mission goals making the world and the people in it all the better.

Throughout the 25 years, we have employed over 1100 people, delivered over 350 amazing projects and contracts and worked with so many wonderful employees, some seasoned professionals and retired veterans, others who got their career started at Martek and have grown within our organization or moved on to other careers. Some of these employees were brief encounters while others have been with us for more than twenty years. In this journey and experience with Martek, we can only hope they all have taken away knowledge, personal growth and the importance of values and integrity and reflect on their time with Martek as a positive experience.

I am extremely proud of the last 25 years and the many accomplishments we have achieved as a company and the positive changes we had on so many people and organizations. Since our inception in 1996, Martek has adapted seamlessly and successfully to world and economic changes, from Y2K hysteria, 9/11 Attacks, to the 2008 Global Financial Crisis and then of course COVID 19, the global pandemic. Every step of the way we made adjustments and changes that allowed us to continue to grow and deliver on our promises and any new direction that our customers and employees desired.

Survival is about adaptation, and as we enter the next twenty-five years of this early century we will continue to honor and reward those that live up to our core values and focus on delivering solutions to our customers based on integrity, creativity, and trust.

I personally want to thank every current and past; employee, vendor, subcontractor, teaming partner, and consultant who have worked with us side-by-side delivering amazing results for the past 25 years and above all, I want to thank our customers for placing trust in Martek and allowing us the opportunity to serve you and your mission.

I am humbled and gratified knowing we have built a strong, reliable, and reputable company that delivers on its promises.
