QUALITY ASSURANCE

Quality is ingrained in our corporate culture and fulfilled by our Quality Control Plan (QCP), which is based on many years of practice and developed using Lean Six Sigma principles and procedures. We are committed to providing superior quality through a disciplined system of planning, reviews, and inspection. We perform rigorous reviews and inspection, as outlined in our QCP, to ensure the quality of workmanship conforms to contract requirements. The Program Manager and Quality Control Manager are responsible for implementation and oversight of the QCP and the performance of quality control activities associated with the task orders. The Quality Control Manager, in conjunction with the Program Manager, develops and executes project-specific procedures and policies tailored for each contract and deliverable. The Program Manager has full authority to stop or re-direct any work being performed to ensure that it is in full contract compliance and meets Martek’s high standards for quality.

ISLAND CREEK ASSOCIATES

A local and highly respected Navy support contractor with a broad history of executive strategic support and management of critical and complex federal and DoD initiatives. The founder of ICA has spent over 25 years providing DoD executive-level support to very large contracting organizations for Navy/Marines, Army and Air Force; proven abilities in planning, staffing and supporting strategic initiatives for highly visible and complex defense initiatives by compiling the precise assets required to meet vital efforts; and also proven program management and facility management know-how. While ICA is a moderately new small business, the personnel resources and capabilities ICA brings from their background in DoD support initiatives are not.
